MYLYFE · FOUNDING BETA

User Agreement, Beta Agreement & Privacy Notice

These rules explain how you may use MYLyFE, what happens to content and account information, and the additional confidentiality and intellectual-property rules that apply during the beta.

Version: 26 October 2026 · Governing law: New South Wales, Australia

Plain-English summary: Be kind, post only what you have the right to share, protect your account, do not copy or reverse-engineer the beta, and tell us if you see a safety problem. The detailed terms below are the agreement.

Part A — User Agreement

1. Who may use MYLyFE

A newly registered beta account is automatically connected to the MYLyFE founder as its first friend when the founder account is available. This is an accepted friendship, so the founder can see content you choose to share with friends. You can remove the friendship through the founder’s profile at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate registration information, and be legally able to enter this agreement. The beta is limited to the first 500 accepted accounts. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared.

2. Your account

You are responsible for protecting your password and recovery code and for activity carried out through your account. Tell the MYLyFE beta operator promptly through Beta feedback if you believe your account has been compromised. We may ask you to verify account information where reasonably necessary for safety, security, age assurance, or legal compliance.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use MYLyFE to:

4. Your content

These content rules also apply to uploaded videos, profile pictures, live broadcasts and live chat. You must have permission for any music or other material included in a video or stream. A live station is intended for the beta community; playback links may be copied, so it is not a private or confidential channel.

You keep ownership of original text and photos you submit. You grant the MYLyFE beta operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and demonstrate MYLyFE according to your selected audience. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal records, and content already shared by others.

You promise that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload your content. You may report content or request deletion through Beta feedback.

5. Moderation and safety

We may review, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose content and suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect MYLyFE. We will aim to act proportionately. Serious or urgent online harm may also be reported to the Australian eSafety Commissioner or emergency services.

6. Acorns and digital items

Beta acorns and digital items are test features with no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, or withdrawn. Real-money purchases are disabled in this beta. Features, balances, pricing, availability, and artwork may change or be reset before launch. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Service availability

MYLyFE is an unfinished beta and may contain bugs, interruptions, data loss, or major feature changes. Use is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. These limitations do not apply where the law does not allow them.

8. Ending access

You may stop using MYLyFE and request deletion through Beta feedback. We may suspend or end beta access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, unlawful activity, or discontinuation of the beta. Provisions that by nature should continue—including intellectual-property, confidentiality, liability, and dispute provisions—survive.

Part B — Founding Beta Agreement

9. Confidential beta

The beta includes non-public product concepts, room and avatar systems, visual designs, pricing, workflows, source behaviour, roadmaps, experiments, and business information (“Beta Materials”). Except for material MYLyFE itself makes publicly available, you must keep Beta Materials confidential and use them only to test MYLyFE and provide feedback.

You must not publish private beta screenshots, recordings, technical findings, unreleased features, or business information without written permission. This does not prevent you from reporting unlawful conduct, obtaining legal advice, exercising a legal right, or making a disclosure protected by law.

10. MYLyFE intellectual property and no-copy rules

MYLyFE, its name and logo, original artwork, room and avatar designs, user interface, software, database structure, documentation, and Beta Materials belong to the MYLyFE project or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the beta for personal testing. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, license, adapt, distribute, commercially exploit, create a competing derivative from, or use Beta Materials to build or train another product. You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, extract source or assets, scrape, mirror, benchmark for a competing service, or bypass technical protections, except to the limited extent a law expressly permits and cannot be excluded by contract.

The general idea of a social network or virtual room may not itself be exclusively owned. These terms protect MYLyFE’s confidential information, specific expression, artwork, software, branding, and other legally protectable material; they do not promise that every product idea can be monopolised.

11. Feedback

You may voluntarily submit suggestions. You grant the MYLyFE beta operator a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and develop those suggestions without payment or attribution. This does not transfer ownership of your photos or social posts.

12. Beta remedies

Unauthorised disclosure or copying may cause harm that is difficult to measure. MYLyFE may suspend access, preserve evidence, seek removal of copied material, and pursue remedies available under law. Any remedy remains subject to applicable consumer law and a court’s powers.

Part C — Privacy Notice

13. Information collected

Registration collects your name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, home address, password-derived security data, recovery-code security data, and acceptance record. Use of MYLyFE may create profile, avatar, room, friendship, post, photo, comment, guestbook, moderation, acorn, advertising-reward, device/session, security, and feedback records.

14. Why information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, provide social and room features, apply age and capacity rules, save progress, prevent fraud and abuse, moderate content, provide support, improve the beta, meet legal duties, and protect MYLyFE and its users. Private registration details are not displayed on public profiles or rooms.

15. Storage, disclosure, and overseas processing

Profile pictures are stored with beta account records. Uploaded feed videos use Cloudflare R2 when media storage is connected. Camera, microphone or screen content is sent to Cloudflare Stream only when you start broadcasting after permission and confirmation. Live recording is disabled in the beta configuration; viewers may still make their own recordings. Display ads are paused on beta app screens during policy review.

YouTube links are stored as text in feed posts. Loading an embedded player connects your browser to YouTube/Google, which processes data under its own policies and may display ads. The player is not loaded until you press Load YouTube player. Your MYLyFE audience setting protects the post, not the original YouTube video.

The beta uses cloud infrastructure and service providers, which may process or store information outside Australia. Information may be disclosed to service providers acting for MYLyFE, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or another operator if the project is restructured, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law. MYLyFE does not sell private registration details.

16. Your choices and rights

You can change public profile and sharing settings within the service. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information through Beta feedback. Some records may be retained where reasonably needed for security, disputes, backups, or legal compliance. Do not send passwords or recovery codes in feedback.

17. Security and incidents

MYLyFE uses measures including password hashing, secure session cookies, access controls, and rate limits. No online system is completely secure. If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, affected people and regulators will be notified where required by law.

Part D — General terms

18. Changes

We may update these terms as the beta changes. If a change is material, we will provide notice and request fresh agreement where appropriate. Continued use after a properly notified non-material change means you accept the updated terms.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Before commencing a claim, each party should try in good faith to resolve the issue through Beta feedback, unless urgent relief is needed. Courts with jurisdiction in New South Wales may hear disputes, subject to any non-excludable legal rights.

20. Contact

For support, privacy requests, copyright reports, safety concerns, or account deletion, use Beta feedback inside MYLyFE. Include enough detail to identify the issue, but never include your password or recovery code.

Legal review recommended before commercial launch. This beta agreement is a practical product draft, not a substitute for advice from an Australian technology and privacy lawyer—especially before introducing paid acorns, brand collaborations, advertising personalisation, or users outside Australia.
